Registration Date: July 28 - August 6, 2025 Registration Address: International Student Office (Registration will be conducted in person.) Candidates/students who are placed but do not register cannot reapply for that academic year.
Required Documents for Registration: 1. The original copy of the High School Diploma must be submitted. Diplomas not in English or Turkish must also be submitted with a notarized or certified translation from a Turkish Foreign Mission during registration. Graduates of Temporary Education Centers must submit a "High School Diploma." Temporary Education Center diplomas are not accepted. 2. Diploma Equivalency Certificates must be obtained from the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey, Provincial Directorates of National Education, or Turkish Foreign Missions in their respective countries. Temporary equivalences are not accepted. Candidates are required to submit their high school equivalency certificate to the University after registration until graduation. All applicants with a Syrian Arab Republic passport are required to submit their high school equivalency certificate during final registration. 3. Transcript: Students must submit a certified photocopy of their official transcript, certified by the High School Directorate, showing all high school courses and grades. If the transcript is not in English or Turkish, a photocopy translated into these languages and certified by the official authorities must also be submitted with the transcript. 4. Exam Result Certificate: The original document submitted during the application must be submitted. 5. Turkish or English Proficiency Certificate, if applicable. 6. Four passport-sized photographs (one taken within the last six months), must be clearly identifiable, have a full face, be beardless, and measure 4.5x6 cm. Photocopies are not acceptable. 7. Passport/ID copy: Must be in Turkish or English. Documents in languages other than these must be translated with a notary or certified translation from a Turkish Foreign Representative.
8. Document Proving High School Registration Date: All candidates must submit an official document proving the date they started high school. If this information is included in their diploma or transcript, no additional documentation is required.
9. Financial Security Declaration Form: Students accepted to our university are responsible for their own living and educational expenses in Turkey, excluding the tuition fee they will pay to the university throughout their education. In this regard, candidates must submit a notary-certified "Financial Security Declaration Form" upon registration.
10. Candidates placed in the Faculty of Aviation and Astronautics - Aviation Management Program and the Oğuzeli Vocational School - Penal Enforcement and Security Program: a) Criminal record, b) A medical report from a fully equipped hospital, obtained within the last 6 months, confirming that they have no health problems that would prevent them from performing their profession and/or assigned duties (hearing loss/impairment, vision loss/impairment, etc.). 1. Students registering with dual nationality must submit a "Detailed Certificate of Population Registration" document (a certificate of population registration copy will not be accepted) obtained from the civil registry offices, documenting their dual nationality, demonstrating that they were foreign nationals by birth and subsequently acquired Turkish citizenship. Students who cannot officially present this document proving their citizenship cannot register. 2. Candidates registering with a Blue Card must submit the original and a photocopy of their Blue Card. For the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Law, and Education, candidates who hold a Blue Card but do not select "Blue Card" as their ID type in the application system will not be registered. 3. A receipt or an official bank statement proving payment of tuition fees must be presented during registration. 4. Applicants who are Turkish citizens and have received their secondary education diploma abroad must submit detailed documentation demonstrating that they completed their entire secondary education abroad in a formal manner.
Registration will not be accepted with incomplete documents. NOTE 1: Registration will not be accepted outside the final registration calendar, and substitute students will not be accepted.
NOTE 2: During registration, applicants who were Turkish citizens by birth but lost their Turkish citizenship by obtaining permission to relinquish their citizenship from the Ministry of Interior, applicants who can prove they hold a Blue Card, which is granted upon request to those who have lost their Turkish citizenship, and applicants who received their high school education abroad (excluding the TRNC) and hold dual citizenship (one of which is Turkish citizenship) and hold Turkish citizenship must ensure that the quota for the Teaching, Law, Medicine, and Dentistry programs does not exceed 10% of the quota for the aforementioned programs.
NOTE 3: Those who do not have a residence permit must bring their residence permit and foreign ID number (YU number) to the Student Affairs Office after registration.
NOTE 4: All students are required to pay tuition fees based on the program they are placed in. NOTE 5: Students must apply to the Social Security Institution for General Health Insurance within three months with their foreign national ID number. Failure to do so will result in their inability to access any healthcare facility in Turkey.
NOTE 6: Students who have completed their registration can log in to the STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (OBS). Login to OBS is via the link below. https://obs.gantep.edu.tr/oibs/ogrenci/login.aspx
To log in to OBS, first fill in the required fields in the password reset section and obtain a password. After receiving your password, your username will be your student number.
NOTE 7: For dual citizens with Turkish citizenship, or those with Turkish citizenship, applicants must submit an image of their passport pages showing their entry and exit to the country during their high school education (if under 18) or a Dormitory Entry/Exit document obtained through the e-government system. NOTE 8: Candidates who do not have the right to stay legally in our country will not be registered. |
